What's On The Easel ?

I'm finished with The Runner and though I'm not entirely happy with the arms, I may try to rework but the arms have really puzzled me because of the foreshortening effect of the photo. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know!

What's on the Easel?

I think I'm finished with my Runner painting but I'm still concerned about here arms. The idea of foreshortened comes in to play here So who knows I may still have to rework her.

 

31 in 31 on Facebook With Gail Sibley

I am still working on The Runner and it will take a while to get her to look like my granddaughter but I'll keep sculpting till I get it right. I recently joined a Facebook group that attempted to post 31 paintings in 31 Days! Impossible for me ...so I cheated a little and posted many of my finished paintings. I did start and finish one and have a few on the Easel including this one. It was a fun group hosted by a famous artist Gail Sibley, she also has a blog named How to Pastel check it out. So it's back to the Easel for me today and work on my runner.

Congress Park Saratoga Springs Pastel 12x16...

Congress Park is a great Oasis in the city of Saratoga Springs, NY...I have painted quite a few paintings  

of that area ..this painting , just off the easel looks out on the water area that winds its way through the park and tucked in here and there in the background, you can see indications of the city brick buildings that guard the park.
